In these series of works, the female figure is told in an expressionist style that blends with the figurative to capture her essence, her vibrant soul and emotional complexity. These works speak of inner strength and resilience, of how our inner struggles, particularly those of women, manifest themselves outwardly. The technique used focuses on the chromatic and structural relationship between the colours and the sign-like strokes and the liquid material, resin, which not only gives the idea of fluidity but is also a way of emphasising the ever-changing nature of our condition.
The bold brushstrokes and undefined contours evoke deep emotions that stem from the concept of human imperfection and the strength of the emotions, evoking an intimate connection with the observer.
